Samsung to Release Galaxy Tab 11.6 at MWC

Samsung will no doubt use the success of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 to propel sales of the Tab 11.6.

Samsung has announced that they will be releasing the World’s largest Android tablet at the Mobile World Congress next month.

According to Tab Tech, German technology website, Samsung will be releasing the Galaxy Tab 11.6 as an addition to the ever growing range of Galaxy Tabs. Although the screen will measure in at a whopping 11.6 inches, it will reportedly online come with a frame that is slightly bigger than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. This suggests that it will come with a super skinny bezel.

The website was tipped off by an unnamed source, and they added that the tablet PC will come with a super powerful 2GHz dual core Exynos 5250 processor, coupled with Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, as well as Samsung’s TouchWiz interface.

Just like the user interface on the Samsung Galaxy Note smartphone, the Galaxy Tab 11.6 will come with stylus support so that you can make notes and doodle on the tablet.

No further details regarding specifications have been released yet, although it is likely that we will see both front and rear facing camera, WiFi and HSDPA connectivity, built in GPS, a powerful 7000mAH battery for long lasting life, and a variety of different options of storage including 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.

Samsung is expected to release the Galaxy Tab 11.6 at the Mobile World Congress is Barcelona next month, along with several other Galaxy branded products and the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S3 handset.
