The BlackBerry Bold 9790 will come with RIM’s trademark QWERTY keyboard.
Research in Motion’s BlackBerry Bold 9790 is now available for purchase from Orange on pay monthly contracts, shortly after the handset’s release on Three, Vodafone and O2.
RIM’s latest smartphone can be bought from Orange for £31 per month for 24 months which will get you unlimited texts, 400 minutes, 750MB of Internet data and 2 of Orange’s swapables.
However it is worth taking note of Three’s prices for the Bold 9790, who are selling the handset on a 24 month contract for £28 per month, although this will only get you 500 texts, 500 minutes and 1GB of data. Although this contract is well suited for people who love surfing the Internet.
If you still aren’t convinced that this BlackBerry is for you, then maybe the specifications will persuade you. The Bold 9790 will come with the latest version of RIM’s software, the OS 7. As well as this you will find the usual portrait QWERTY keyboard, a 2.4 inch capacitive touchscreen and the usual optical trackpad.
The handset will measure in a decently sized 11.4mm thick and will also come with a 5 megapixel rear facing camera with VGA video smarts, 8GB of built in storage that can be expanded to 40GB with a microSD card, WiFi and HSDPA connectivity options and integrated NFC technology smarts.
This is as well as all of BlackBerry’s usual goodies including email, BBM, Twitter, Facebook and one touch access to BlackBerry’s App World.
