Pictures of First Motorola ICS Phone

Aside from the Android operating system and the Medfield chipset by Intel, no more details have been revealed by Motorola about the handset.

Pictures of the first Motorola handset to run on Google’s Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system have surfaced on the Internet looking very official.

Apparently the handset will also come with Intel’s ‘Medfield’ chipset.

The unnamed device will also be the second handset ever made that will come with Intel’s Medfield chipset. The first handset to feature this chipset was first unveiled by Levono at the CES conference in January 2012.

Although the exact details of the chipset have yet to be confirmed, it will apparently equip the handset with more power than the iPhone 4S and the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. As well as giving the handset well above the average graphics performance.

So what other features can we expect from this new Motorola handset Medfield Android 4.0-powered smartphone? From the leaked images that were originally released by Pocketnow, we can see that the handset will come with a light grey casing, far away from Motorola’s usual raven black plastic.

There are also rumours flying around that this casing will come paired with a high definition touchscreen, an impressive ‘instant on’ camera that is equipped with a 15 frames per second burst capture mode and a revamped version of Motorola’s custom user interface.

It is expected that we will hear more details about this unnamed Motorola handset at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona later this month.
