HTC Desire V Announced for Europe

If you travel a lot, then the dual SIM quality of the HTC Desire V will suit you perfectly.

HTC are determined to bring the Ice Cream Sandwich operating system to all entry level smartphones, and they are leading the way towards that goal.

After the release of the HTC One V and HTC Desire C, they have also announced that the HTC Desire V will be their next Ice Cream Sandwich handset for people on a budget.

After the Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, the most standout feature of this phone will be its dual SIM capabilities. This feature is a rare sight in most smartphones, but it is a coveted feature for those who travel between two countries a lot.

The HTC Desire V will also come with a 4 inch WVGA display powered by a single core 1GHz Qualcomm processor. It will also have a 5 megapixel camera, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of built in memory and Beats Audio technology. The 4GB of memory can be expanded with a microSD card and there is also 25GB of free Dropbox space.

At the moment, the Desire V has only been confirmed for a release in Ukraine, where it will hit the shelves sometime in July. A release date for the rest of Europe, including the UK, has not been confirmed yet. However it seems to be a safe bet that it will be arriving here sometime in the near future.
