ZTE Nubia Z5 Made Official

The high end Nubia Z5 has been unveiled by ZTE.

ZTE have stepped forward to officially confirm the existence of their latest Android handset, the Nubia Z5, which will be unveiled and shown off at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) next year.

The Nubia Z5 will have a 5 inch screen with a 1080 pixel resolution and 443 pixels per inch. This ensures that it fits in perfectly with the latest trend of huge screen smartphones.

Not only does the Z5 have a huge screen, it is also aesthetically pleasing too as the thing white bezel contrasts nicely with the large screen in the centre. It also fits easily in a pocket as the aluminium body measures just 7.6 mm.

All this will be powered by the Android Jelly Bean 4.1.1 operating system and a 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, supported by 2GB of a 533 MHZ RAM.

There will also be 32GB of built in memory, a 13 megapixel rear facing camera with an illuminated CMOS sensor and a 2 megapixel front facing camera.

Just going off the specifications, the Nubia Z5 sounds like an excellent handset, and ZTE think so too as one of the phone’s selling points is “wise operations bring mind-reading interactive experiences.”

ZTE have yet to unveil the handset outside of China, which means that no worldwide pricing has been announced. However ¥3,456 equates to approximately £350.

The ZTE Nubia Z5 will be unveiled and available for hands on time at the CES 2013 conference in January.
