ZTE Grand S Specifications Leaked

Details of the upcoming ZTE Grand S have emerged online.

The world doesn’t usually get excited about the launch of new handsets from ZTE, as it is a company that tends to keep to itself, but the exception to this seems to be the ZTE Grand S.

Clearly the Grand S is a handset that ZTE are desperate to show off to the world, as specifications and details about the handset have been leaked online prior to its apparent unveiling at the CES conference in January 2013.

We now know that the ZTE Grand S will come with a 5 inch full HD display, which lines up with what we’re seeing with current handsets and new ones on the way.

The Grand S will also measure just 6.9 mm thick, perfect for pocket storage, and will have a 13 megapixel rear facing camera.

The internals are also up in the high end range of the market, as the Grand S will be powered by a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, supported by 2GB of RAM and, one of its best features, the Android Jelly Bean operating system.

The only pricing information at the moment relates to China, but the price translates at approximately £280 for an unlocked handset.

It is also extremely likely that the Grand S will turn up in the UK and Europe, given ZTE’s plans to dominate the rest of the smartphone world.

For a company that has just started to emerge as a big player, the Grand S could be the break through handset ZTE have been waiting for.
