Nokia Lumia 620 Arriving Today
The cheapest ever Windows Phone 8 handsets is launched today.
The Nokia Lumia 620 arrives in stores today and is bringing the premium high end features we’ve seen in the Lumia 820 and 920 to the cheaper end of the market.
Obviously Nokia will have had to trim a few features off this entry level handset in order to make it nice and affordable, but compared to other cheaper handsets, the Lumia 620 outdoes many of its rivals thanks to the unique features and eye catching design.
The Lumia 620 looks like a new version of the 820, as it has the same rounded heavy corners and edges on the back of the case. The back panel is also removable, like the 820, so different colours can be inserted.
The 620 has the following removable back panels covers; lime green, yellow, cyan, magenta, white and black and all have a matt finish.
Underneath the removable panel is the 1,300 mAh battery, the NFC chip, a micro SIM and a space for a micro SD card to expand memory by up to 64 GB.
As stated above, the Lumia 620 comes with several unique Nokia features, including Nokia Music, Nokia Drive and Nokia Transport. It also has some excellent camera features including City Lens and SmartShoot.
Other specifications of the Lumia 620 include a 3.8 inch ClearBlack display powered by a 1GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor supported by 512MB of RAM and 8GB a built in memory.
Despite its low entry status, the Lumia 620 has both a 5 megapixel rear facing camera with LED flash and autofocus, and a VGA front facing camera for video calling.
O2 are currently offering the Lumia 620 on pay as you go for £149.99 whilst Three and Vodafone will be publishing their prices later today.
